Isaías Martínez Soto studied archaeology at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas.
Since 2011 he has studied the archaeological ceramics of Comonfort, Guanajuato, with an aproach that emphasizes experimental archaeology.
Her research focuses on the rescue of techniques and designs of pre-Hispanic ceramics from the Chamacuero Valley.
With this experience he has been able to adapt such techniques to current forms and functions. His approach is not only artistic, but it also has a historical and cultural value.
The pieces are a window to the past, seeking to preserve and revitalize the rich ceramic tradition of the region.
